A week ago today my friend, Barb (a.k.a. Kris) and I arrived on Okaloosa Island, which is between Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida.  We had anticipated sunny days, but we were met with chilly rain.  I’m still not complaining because the weather is so much colder and snowy at our beginning points in Michigan and Wisconsin.  There’s been a couple days of sun and it’s been warm enough to sit on our balcony and soak some of it up.  Nell would be delighted with all the wonderful food here.  I’ll post some pictures soon.  For now, here’s a shot of the view from our balcony.
